Sober Living
Life Enhancements will provide sober living housing to those individuals who have successfully completed a withdraw management/ detox program and is looking to continue their journey in sobriety by surrounding themselves with peers and peer specialists that can assist them in furthering their success in sober living. Each home will house 10 individuals at a time seperating men and women into seperate houses.
Health Education
Individuals will be educated on their basic health care needs along with any existing disease process in order to help them gain confidence when caring for themselves, their children or loved ones.
Guidance Counseling
We will offer youth and gang counseling for those individuals who are struggling within their current environment. Personal counseling will also be provided to those who suffer from mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and/ or any other personality disorder. We will strive to make these indidviduals comfortable releasing their inner feelings, discovering a brighter outlook on their situation and finding direction to creating a new and positive path.
Job Training
The organiztion will host a GED class, a CPR class and a Certified Nurse Asistant class with job placement for those eligible to become certified. We will assist individuals who have been incarcerated with job search, application completion, resumes and placement in desirable areas. Onsite touring will be available for all ages and career days for interested participants.
Transitional Housing
- We will provide transitional housing for individuals from the sober living home who have completed certain criteria throughout their stay in sober living. The housing will include a detailed, individualized one year plan for each resident. Transitional homes will house 2-3 residents/ families per year (limited space for families). Residency will subject to written criteria. These individuals will be offered all of the services the organization has to offer including but not limited to:
- Furthering education
- Financial and credit courses
- Assistance with purchasing health and life insurance
- Establishing a checking and savings account
- Preparation for purchasing/ renting a home
- Transportation
- Career training/placement
